Why Cescaphe Weddings Are So Special
The wedding industry in Philadelphia wouldn’t be quite the same without Cescaphe venues setting a standard for luxury and impeccable service. As a longtime Philadelphia wedding photographer, I’ve had the joy of capturing countless love stories at all of Cescaphe’s locations across the city. This guide will walk you through their standout venues, with real wedding features from my blog for visual inspiration!

Cescaphe Venues In Philadelphia
Each of Cescaphe’s center city Philadelphia wedding venues is located within a three-block radius with City Hall at the center. Iconic landmarks like the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Rittenhouse Square, the Merchant Exchange building, and Independence Hall are mere steps away.

I love taking my clients through Old City Philly to capture timeless Philly wedding photos in front of these historic locations. The Rocky steps at the Museum of Art are a great spot to take pictures featuring the Philadelphia skyline and cityscape in the background.
The Cescaphe venues family includes:

Each of the Cescaphe venues is surrounded by local landmarks for all those iconic Philly wedding photos.

The exquisite ballroom interior of this venue, specifically, is a photographer’s dream! If you’re envisioning a premier wedding venue in the heart of Philly, the Cescaphe Ballroom is a must-visit!
Why I love the Cescaphe Ballroom in Philadelphia:

Downtown Club by Cescaphe: Old-World Elegance Overlooking Independence Hall
Historic elegance meets modern editorial moments at this nearly century-old Philly venue. Located on the corner of Locust and 6th, the Down Town Club features beautiful panoramic views of historic Philly from the 10th floor. You can host both your wedding ceremony and Grand Ballroom reception here with space for up to 200 guests.

The Down Town Club offers Cescaphe’s signature hour-and-a-half cocktail experience across two elegant spaces. Guests are first welcomed in The Foyer with champagne and heirloom tables for photos and place cards. The Main Cocktail Room boasts floor-to-ceiling views of Independence Hall, candlelit tables, a baby grand piano, and luxe touches like chef-attended stations, a raw bar, and a customizable ice sculpture feature.

The Down Town Club is perfect for couples planning a sophisticated city wedding with upscale charm. You’ll fall in love with the inlaid marble floors, hand-carved moldings, rich mahogany paneling, classic architecture, and other features of the Club’s Georgian Revival elegance!

The Lucy by Cescaphe: Chic, Contemporary Romance on Broad Street
If you’re looking for a modern, luxe vibe, you’ll love the towering ceilings, dramatic chandeliers, and airy, upscale ballroom design of The Lucy. Located on the Avenue of the Arts, The Lucy is great for stylish couples seeking a city-meets-modern aesthetic.

The Lucy draws sophistication and elegance from all of its distinctive details. The venue’s European-inspired fixtures and modern textures were the ideal backdrop for this sage green and navy summer wedding.

From sleek gold chandeliers and beams to chevron-patterned floors, style is the name of the game at the posh Cescaphe venue. Being in the heart of Center City, the venue is also perfectly placed to hit the Old Philly sector for some urban chic photo ops.
With 17,000 sqft of space and capacity for 300+ guests, The Lucy is an ideal spot for larger weddings.

Cescaphe Water Works: Waterfront Beauty with Timeless Appeal
Water Works is one of my all-time favorite Cescaphe venues. Known for its outdoor ceremony space and neoclassical architecture, this iconic venue overlooks the Schuylkill River. One of my favorite aspects of the venue is that it offers so many different features all in one. You get waterfront and art museum views, columned walkways, manicured gardens, a tented veranda for cocktail hour, and a breathtaking vintage gazebo.

If you’re planning a romantic, scenic wedding with both city and nature backdrops, you can’t go wrong picking Water Works in Philly. I captured my dear friend Kathryn’s late summer wedding here, and I’m still not over how well her soft pastel and sage green color palette complemented the space.
