Photos gift us slivers of time —
I like to think the love of photography was woven into my DNA. As a third-generation photographer who grew up with a camera always within arm’s reach, it may very well be true.
My great-grandfather H. Lee Waters was a masterful documentarian and celebrated photographer who traveled the south filming the locals. He had an unmatched ability to weave storytelling into moments that would otherwise go unnoticed but piece history together for us—moments that can never be recreated. He revolutionized the photo and video world as we know it today. But his most endearing qualities were his warmth and willingness to see people for who they are and portray them at their best—which encouraged openness and excitement to see themselves from his perspective.
It’s those qualities that I bring to all my couples, along with the ability to distill every drop of bliss from your wedding day into timeless images that will one day become your family’s legacy.
I was 18 years old when I photographed my first wedding, and at that moment—while simultaneously pursuing a nursing degree—I knew my passion would quickly become my career.
Over the years, I’ve honed my talent and struck a delicate balance of capturing genuine feelings and framing intimate moments in editorial edits. All without interrupting the memory in the making or losing the authenticity of your story. You and yours remain the focus.
But the best part of my business is connecting with my couples and seeing clients become friends. There’s nothing I love more than helping you celebrate the beginning of your new life together and giving you images that are not only beautiful but meaningful.
After all, once your wedding day is over, the only tangible items that remain are your photos and rings. Earmarking your celebration—your moment in time—is work I’m honored to do.
Avid multitasker.
I'm a nurse too! I became a professional photographer while studying for a BSN. I loved the hands-on, fast-paced hospital life. Handling the pressures of a wedding day comes naturally to me.
Always on my mind.
Quality time with Ben and Obi, our puppy, is my favorite way to spend my days. We're getting married in November of 2023, and I couldn't be more excited to get to call him my husband. Fun fact- my mom set us up!
People. Always people.
I’m 89% extroverted—and my fiance Ben says I can fill an empty house with my personality. This “people person” spirit and a deep sense of empathy always result in a celebration of connection.
England, with love.
The culture, the architecture, the ‘old-world elegance meets modern charm’. I’ve always dreamed of photographing a London wedding. And I’m looking forward to going wherever your romance unfolds.
A Glass of Sauv (or two!)
A white wine aficionado (I’ll take white over red any day of the week). Sauvignon Blanc remains my absolute favorite. When the wedding adventure is done, we’ll make it a Sauv or champagne date—your pick!
I graduated from Kutztown University with a BFA in photography and a heart for helping couples document their love story, and I have been photographing weddings ever since.
I believe the most memorable photos are the ones that keep your romance at the center, which is also why Lauren and I bonded. Our shared values and love of giving our clients a great experience made coming alongside her vision and unique style a seamless transition and easy decision. It also makes us the perfect team to photograph your wedding day.
When I’m not collecting books that I scarcely have time to finish, I’m spending quality time with my prom date turned soon-to-be-husband and our 2 dogs.
It’s my privilege to showcase your love story—to capture the details with intention and candid moments that go by in a flash. While you’re enjoying one of the most beautiful days of your life, I’ll ensure you’ll have those treasured wedding memories to hold on to.
