I had the absolute pleasure of capturing the love of Kiersten and Brendan during their engagement shoot in the lead-up to their wedding, which is taking place this Spring. In the words of Kiersten, she’s “FINALLY marrying my best friend after 10 years with all our favorite people there to celebrate!!”

First of all, congratulations on the decade! Second, when I get to shoot couples who have been together as long as these two, it brings with it such a profound sense of harmony. These are two people that know each other inside and out, and who can anticipate each other’s needs without needing to say a word. Sure makes for some cute shots!

Chatting more about their wedding, the couple told me that they are “very much embracing the natural beauty of their Trout Lake venue. The style and feel of the event is simple but romantic with a touch of rustic. We want the ceremony to be heartwarming and emotional and the reception to be energetic and exciting! We are hoping our guests have just as good of a day as us! We finally will have our family and friends in one place to celebrate. We couldn’t be any more excited!!”

The couple also plans to do a private last dance to a song they loved when they first met in 8th grade, and I am dying to be there for that. Kiersten and Brendan, I can’t wait to see you then!
