The Farm at Eagles Ridge Wedding | Brittni + CJ

Brittni and CJ got married this past September at The Farm at Eagles Ridge and it was a DREAM. To say I’m obsessed with this couple and their entire gallery is an understatement. These two are truly the most fun-loving and hilarious couple. Be sure to keep scrolling to their dancing photos, talk about a party! You do not want to miss these! Cheers to the lovebirds!

Read all about their wedding day from the bride here:

There were many parts of the evening that were amazing and that I was looking forward to. The band was incredible and had every guest dancing all night long. However, my favorite part of the day was walking down the aisle to Here Comes The Sun by the Beatles with my dad and seeing CJ for the first time. We opted not to do a first look and it was so special seeing each other for the first time during the ceremony. He looked so handsome in his tux, and I was so excited to share our vows with each other in front of our family and friends. I always wondered what my wedding day would be like. From the moment I got engaged (actually before) I had a vision in my head of how I would want the day to go. From my dress, hair, and makeup to the bridesmaids, to the centerpieces and band I had a certain vision, and I can happily say that the dream I had absolutely came to life with the help of my husband and mom. I knew from the beginning I wanted something different. I had looked at different venues and was able to quickly rule out what I liked and didn’t like. When I graduated nursing school, I was offered a job at Penn State Hershey. CJ and I both went to Penn State, but were not very familiar with Central PA. When I accepted the position CJ and I got our first apartment together in Lancaster and the rest is history. We felt as though having our wedding in Lancaster was fitting because that’s where we started our journey together. The Farm at Eagles Ridge was the first venue we looked at and it had the unique vibe I was going for. I loved that the bridal suite, ceremony, and reception was going to be located on the same property, but in different locations. The style / feel I was going for was elegant, but rustic. I was looking for that classy elegant feel without being in a ballroom. My hope for my guests was for them to walk away with a unique wedding experience, but having the best time ever!

Our colors for the wedding consisted of champagne, black, and white. The groomsmen all wore classic tuxes, CJ wore a traditional tuxedo with a velvet jacket. All of the bridesmaids were satin champagne colored dressed from BHLDN and they mixed up the styles. We mostly stayed with this particular color scheme and had a ton of greenery to break it up.

I will never forget when we had a first look at the reception before guests entered from cocktail hour. When I say that my jaw hit the floor that is not an exaggeration. I felt at that moment all the hard work that CJ and I had put into planning our wedding made it worth it. From the table details, to the florals, to our wedding cake, I was so incredibly happy how everything turned out.

We both wore our parent’s rings and used those rings to get married at the ceremony. I did have a separate wedding ring to go with my engagement ring, but we both thought it was special and unique to wear our parent’s bands. In the photos the gold band is CJs grandpop’s and the gold band with the three rows of diamonds is my mom’s wedding band.

My biggest piece of advice I would give to brides is once you decide on something whether that be your venue, dress, or a specific vendor, check off the box and move onto the next thing. It will be the best thing for your mind as you are planning. It truly is the best day of your life thus far and all the hard work and stress is worth it in the end. Do not forget to have the best day ever and take it all in, it goes by so fast!
