Drumore sunsets never get old. Seriously.
Madison and Alex got married at the Drumore Estate this spring after being together since the end of middle school! Can you imagine! The bride and groom met through their club soccer teams, started dating in 2010, and have been together ever since! I’m always amazed at love stories that blossom in your teenage years and carry on through to adulthood. Talk about committed!
Even more romantic, Madison and Alex got engaged after having to spend over a month apart during the beginning of the pandemic, reuniting and knowing they never wanted to be apart again. Crazy cute.
For their big day, the bride wanted to celebrate their years-long love story with a wedding day that was equal parts whimsical and romantic, and an all-out dance party. Sounds like my kind of wedding.
The couple highlighted the natural beauty of the Drumore grounds by bringing in more hanging greenery into the reception, woven into the hanging cafe lights under their tent. Coupled with the light blue, sage, and beige accents, their theme of boho chic and garden party vibes perfectly suited the outdoor reception space. It was a very fairytale situation, let me tell you.
And then we danced!
Even though Madison was brought to tears just thinking about the moment when she and her future husband would see each other from across the aisle, she was equally excited to party. The bride and groom wanted to make sure to get through any formalities early so they could hit the dance floor and photo booth with their custom koozies and foam light sticks. That’s what I like to see!
By the end of the night, Madison and Alex shared a sweet and intimate last dance together and then were sent off in a shower of love and sparklers.
What a day. Thanks for having me guys!
