Oh, these two. I’m obsessed. Also, matching Christmas scarves!

As the holiday season crashed down around us, I got to steal away for a quick engagement session with these two lovelies. Preston and Andrew are like being around joy, personified. These two know how to have a good time. I kind of suspected that when I rolled up and saw those scarves and their Christmas drinks. I was not disappointed!

Shooting in a visible public spot, like we did downtown, can make some couples feel very shy and freeze up even more than usual in front of a camera. Not these two! They were too busy having a grand old time to feel self-conscious as we galavanted around town. May we all take a page out of their book and not be bothered by outside noise!

They really did have this great carefree vibe that I think is going to carry into their wedding. Outside of the details like their gorgeous color palette (rustic/natural vibes – earthy tones and greens with gold and silver accents!), the strongest impression I got from our conversations about their celebration was that the only thing that mattered was their union. Both grooms immediately noted that the ceremony was the thing they were looking forward to the most, with dinner being a close second. Men after my own heart! They weren’t concerned with the when, where, or how, as much as just being together and having fun.

I can’t wait for Preston and Andrew to tie the knot in April! It will absolutely start this year off with a bang!
