One warm and rainy Spring day, Lauren and Christian got married, and it was absolutely delightful.
Talk about a bride who has an infectious smile! Lauren was absolutely beaming all day long and it made everyone else smile too.
Moonstone Manor hosted the bride and groom’s nuptials, a gorgeous day swirling in vintage rose, peach, pinks, navy and LOTS of greenery. Lauren and Christian shared that they love being outside, so the natural beauty of the venue was a huge draw for them.
Another fun thing about the venue? They buried a bottle of bourbon on the grounds a month before their wedding! Lauren told me that tradition says if you bury a bottle of bourbon upside down at your venue exactly one month before your wedding you will have good weather.
I am so into fun traditions like that.
It was a first for me when we traipsed over and dug up that bad boy, followed by a celebratory drink for their efforts! What a memory for the books.
From gorgeous arbors and gauzy dresses to buried bourbon and tulle-draped tents, Lauren and Christian brought the outside in to their wedding, and it was such a treat to capture.
I hope your new chapter as man and wife will continue to include loving on your labradoodle, Dunkin, being by the water and cooking up a storm together. Cheers to the next chapter!
