Since I first photographed Andrew and Preston’s Christmas inspired engagement session, where they had the best ornament novelty glasses, I’ve been waiting to photograph their wedding day. I love these two.
I knew that Andrew and Preston were going for a really carefree wedding experience based on our conversations during their first shoot. They wanted simple and classic colors and decor, minimal but beautiful accents, and a celebration that focused on their unique love rather than any formal traditions.
No lace, no tulle, no problem! It was so fun to see their unique take on their wedding day come to life with rented live plants, sleek black suits with silver and gold metal accessories, and their muted color palette. Even their handfasting cords were silver and gold, which I thought was such a thoughtful addition.
And can we talk about these grounds! I’m all for a historic venue, but this is definitely one of the most fun ones I’ve gotten to capture. Maybe it’s because it has this renaissance fair vibe all year long, but everything just feels so vibrant and full of life. It was literally perfect for these two.
Start to finish, this whole day was such an adventure. From the unique grounds of the Mount Hope Estate and Winery to the eclectic mix of fun-loving and hilarious personalities, I felt like I was at one amazing family get together where everyone feels like home. They were a genuine bunch, and you could see how much they loved and supported our lucky couple.
I loved being a part of your community, Andrew and Preston, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!
Thank you to all of our Vendors!!
