What a stunning day this was! We had the most unpredictable weather, but Jori and Ben made the most of it. The couple chose Historic Shady Lane for their celebration, and that venue never disappoints! Such a lush garden and grounds to catch all of those breathtaking shots.
Leading up to their special day, I got to know the couple’s history and loved that they are so easy-going! Ben proposed to Jori in the comfort and privacy of their home, after making her favorite chili dinner. Afterward, to put the icing on the cake, he’d arranged to have their friends and family over to celebrate! I love the cozy at-home vibes they give me.
I also love that they share a passionate bond over food! When the self-professed foodies aren’t hiking in nature with their beloved dog, Apollo, they love to traipse around Baltimore trying out new restaurants and cuisines, especially their go-to spot, Clavel. I have to put that on my list the next time I’m in town because Jori and Ben had me at spicy margaritas.
One the day of, the whole ceremony and reception had enchanted fairy garden vibes. I loved capturing the whimsy of it all as the couple made their union official, despite mother nature doing what she does. In the end, we had a magical day full of love and laughter, and, of course, you can’t go wrong with a sparkler send-off line!
Jori and Ben’s love was truly front and center, and I couldn’t love them or their pictures more!
