With its towering columns, grand architecture, and manicured grounds, The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve serves as the perfect setting for photo-worthy weddings at any time of year.

History of The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve

This beautiful PA wedding venue is named after local entrepreneur Charles E. Ellis of Philadelphia. It opened in 2016 as a wedding venue run by Finley Catering but is a historical landmark that was originally built in 1932. Whether you’re a history buff or just looking for vibes, you can be sure that the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve will not disappoint. Rachel and Evan made the most of the beautiful grounds for plenty of outdoor photos, and this perfect January day was flooded with the glowiest of romantic lighting.

Planning Your Wedding at The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve

While the venue allows couples to host all or part of their wedding on site, Rachel and Evan got married in a local church before bringing the party over to the Finley Ballroom for dinner and dancing. The venue holds a maximum of 230 guests with a 100-guest minimum, and is easily accessible off of Route 3 and Route 476. A staff committed to excellence helps with set-up and cleaning so all you have to do is enjoy yourself on your special day.

The vendor team that Rachel and Evan chose worked seamlessly to bring their vision to life. Brittany (@hairwizardry) gave Rachel the most effortless updo. Makeup by Brielle (@makeupbybrielle) crafted a wedding makeup look reminiscent of Hollywood’s finest, which paired exquisitely with Rachel’s gown from @daydream_bridal. Finley Catering (@finleycatering) crafted a delicious spread of food, while The Master’s Baker (@themastersbaker) designed the showstopper wedding cake. The lovely florals were done by Moles Flower & Gift Shop (@molesflowers) and the beat was dropped by @experience_bvtlive. Along with yours truly providing the photography, this incredible team worked together to make this beautiful day unforgettable!
