Morgan and Patrick got married at the phenomenal Curtis Arboretum just outside Philadelphia, and I have to say that I love this location.
As a part of the Historic Curtis Estate, Curtis Hall and the Arboretum grounds have everything you love about an outdoor wedding. Hills, ponds, so many trees and flowers, it is absolutely ridiculous. They just went through big renovations to add things like bridal suites and the cute little amenities you need for a modern wedding. It was so good.
Anyway, I always love having good options in my back pocket for couples that are still undecided on their venue, and this site is definitely one to add! Wedding photographers see it all so we’re very good resources for all kinds of recommendations. If you didn’t know, now you know!
Morgan fell in love with Curtis Arboretum because they’re longtime visitors of Longwood Gardens, which is another gorgeous nature-filled space. Morgan and Pat actually got engaged on their annual trip to Longwood for Christmas, and I can only imagine how beautiful that was!
But the wedding day (which was 10 years in the making), did not disappoint with its natural beauty. After getting through a lot together (dental school, job changes, injuries and surgeries, the list goes on), these two finally got their happy ending full of personality, bohemian touches, and beautiful weather.
Morgan told me they’d been to A LOT of weddings since they first started dating, so they were super excited to finally have made it to theirs.
The day was filled with lots of laughter and some amazingly sweet moments that I was lucky enough to capture on film, and I couldn’t be happier for these two! Good luck on your continued journey!
