I love when a couple knows exactly who they are and completely embraces it across the board. Actually, I should say ‘across the finish line’, because that is where these two car-racing, adventuring romantics are at their happiest.

When I was first getting to know Ivy and Max, it was immediately clear that they love living life to the fullest. They have his and hers race cars, the same sense of daring, and this fun edgy vibe that I know is going to extend to their wedding. They choose Hibernia Park specifically because it had good parking for showcasing their vehicles in their photos. I truly love their commitment. We spent a good portion of time poring over sporty but romantic couples’ portraits that they wanted to take inspiration from, and I was so excited to take some iconic shots.

Speaking of their nuptials, these self-professed lovers of wine are throwing their big event over the summer at the sweeping Renault Winery in New Jersey. Renault has an interesting place in history that kind of winds itself through different periods in America, and I am so excited to shoot there twice over the coming months. Turn of the century industrial PLUS Chateau elegance? I’m here for it.
