Lauren and Christian’s engagement session was SO much fun. Even in the 97 degree July weather, these two were such a joy! Their love truly radiates, I catch myself smiling scrolling through their images! They wanted a feel of natural beauty for their session and I think it’s safe to say Lauren is nothing but a natural beauty and that shines through these images! Her dress is from Lulus and it was the perfect dress for her and their dreamy summer session! I cannot wait for their wedding in May!
Their story: Christian and I started dating when we were seniors in high school! We did spend some time apart during our college years but officially started dating again in 2014. We love spending time with our dog, Dunkin. Other things we enjoy doing together are cooking, traveling- especially to the beach, and outdoor activities. We enjoy having a great meal together! We love to go to restaurants but also enjoy cooking together and having a meal at our home.
Their proposal: Christian proposed on Christmas day. It was just the two of us at home. We were spending our morning on the couch with our dog, Dunkin and drinking our coffee. As the morning went on, Christian asked if I wanted to exchange gifts. Christian never wraps any gifts for any occasion, so I did not find it odd that he went to go get my gifts out of his hiding spot. He came back into our living room and sat on the coffee table as I continued to lounge on the couch. I was not expecting a proposal on Christmas day because that would be very out of character for Christian, so as he started proposing I was unsure what was happening. Christian was saying the sweetest things to me and I had no clue it was a proposal. I finally realized he was proposing when he showed me the ring box and said “there is no one else in the world that I would want to do life with”. I am pretty sure I responded with ” no you did not” because I was completely surprised. Of course, I then said yes! We spent the day together and informed our family members as we saw them throughout the day. It was fun to surprise everyone with our exciting news!
